California Bank & Trust (CB&T) (www.calbanktrust.com) is pleased to announce that its Japanese relief efforts have raised $75,000 toward aid relief from the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. This includes contributions from customers, employees, and the Bank's 150% match of employee donations. California Bank & Trust continued to collect donations through the end of May to coincide with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
In support of the families devastated by the recent disaster, California Bank & Trust is directing donations to two relief organizations: the Japanese Chamber of Commerce Foundation'sU.S. Fund for UNICEF and the Buddhist Churches of America's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. Contributions to these funds will help with the ongoing efforts to provide services and care to those affected by the devastating disaster.

As in the past, California Bank & Trust continues to support the Asian Pacific American community with donations to the Asian Art Museum Community Access Fund, Japanese Heritage Day, Kyoto Prize Symposium and sponsorship of the Asian Pacific American Legal Centers awards.
