HOUSTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amegy Bank of Texas announced today that it is operational following Hurricane Ike. Amegy Bank currently has more than 20 Houston-area banking centers open and 50-plus ATMs that are operational with cash available to withdraw. Amegy's treasury management, lending, investments, and foreign exchange divisions are fully functioning. As power is restored, additional branches will reopen.
