HOUSTON, June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Amegy Bank of Texas today announced the
promotion of Preston Moore to Executive Vice President and Manager of the
Bank's Wealth Management and Capital Markets business lines.

Moore previously served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Syndicated
Finance where he oversaw the arrangement and syndication of bank financings
for commercial, real estate and energy clients.
"Since Preston joined Amegy in 2002 to start our syndicated finance group,
he has shown remarkable leadership skills and a commitment to our clients,
employees, and the community," said Paul B. Murphy, Jr., CEO, Amegy Bank.

Moore is actively involved with Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church,
volunteers at the Neighborhood Centers Inc., and serves on the alumni board of
the Kinkaid School and the Board of Directors of the Houston Country Club. He
also coaches basketball and softball for the West Houston League.
Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from
Washington and Lee University and a Master of Business Administration in
finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds Series 7 and 63
Securities Licenses.
